American Woe 04:30
American Woe You never wanted all that you got A withering nation under God I can't conceive why you'd rather be the richest man in the cemetery Not for me Military Not for me Whatever happened to the truth and why is it dangerous to you? You used to be the light in the dark Now you’re a knife right through the heart Stripes and stars Pretty scars It took you far I wouldn't mind American woe Filling the skies with carrion crows American woe You’ve got it all running backwards again We are the owners, you are the slave I can’t conceive why you’d rather be the wickedest man in the cemetery Not for me Military Not for me I wouldn't mind American woe Filling the skies with carrion crows See how they fly but nobody knows American woe
2.
Saccharine 03:18
Saccharine Watercolour pleasantries Sugar sweet through gritted teeth See how many nobodies They can fit on TV screens Plant a seed and watch it grow P&R and mind control Everybody thinks they know What everybody thinks they know Fake, fake. Sweet, sweet Honey covered lucid dream Blinded from the big bad world By all the pretty boys and girls Grinning through your tele-screens Telling you what to believe Turn it off and rub those eyes Deconstruct a million lies Look into the rabbit hole Recollect the mind they stole
3.
Lambs 04:51
Lambs For now we see through a glass, darkly A glass or a mirror? I can't tell Planned obsolescence - no thing lasts Love is a slow burn - hate burns fast Lead out the lambs, cut the throat Using the hands built from bone Cut from the sand or so we're told Lead out the lambs War, the very lifeblood of the state And until we end it, things won’t change

about

Following on from the release of the first EP (Tidewater Stream), this EP stays true to the concept of capturing the live energy of the band onto a final stereo mix, with as little interference between the band and the listener as possible. No compromises were made, in an attempt to make these songs fit someone else's agenda.

This record mourns the loss of the public's ability to think critically about any given subject. Where the governments decide the narrative and then disseminate it to the world's media outlets, who then spoon-feed it to the dumbed down masses.

about

Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors Belfast, UK

SRI write, produce, mix, master & release their own music. When the listener hears the music, they hear it exactly as it was intended to be heard. By controlling all the stages, the music is never diluted. The recording process can put across a false representation of the band. Drums can be edited to a grid, vocals pitch corrected etc. SRI do NOT do this. The music is not "perfect", but it is real ... more
